This Was "Pat The Bat Weekend"

How convenient was it for the Phillies to play the Rays and Pat Burrell in this year's On Deck Series at the Bank?

Not a bad coincidence. Anyway, as we all know (or at least should), these On Deck Series games are meaningless in terms of outcome. They're spring training games in the cold, rainy weather of Philadelphia. 

So, the scores of Friday and today's games are irrelevant. This was Pat Burrell Weekend.

He received a nice standing ovation after Phanavision played a highlight video of him yesterday and got a nice ovation today after he hit his homer. It's nice to see "Pat the Bat" get the respect he deserves. He will always be a Phillie by heart.
