As a preacher for fans knowing the history of their favorite teams, I feel it is important that all of us Philly fans watch this 1987 television tribute, reported by Bob Ley, on Julius Erving. It really teaches younger people like me who didn't get to watch Doc learn about this Philadelphia 76er legend.
As rare as parades are in this town, we had one for Doctor J. Not a championship, a man of class.
