Antero Nittymaki was in net for the Orange and Black tonight once again as he is "deemed" the new starter. Well, Nitty was obviously not very good, which leaves a bad feeling in your system.
If there is one positive to take from tonight's game, it is the return of Mike Richards. In his first game back from dealing with the flu, Richie scored a goal.
But in the end, the only number that counts is the one on top of the fancy titantron/scoreboard in the Wachovia Center.
And it read as follows: Flyers Lose.

is any one else sick and tired of losing games because of goaltending.
that wasn't so much goaltending. he let in like 2 bad goals. it was one of those games where you knew from the first 10 minutes that we weren't going to win and would be lucky to score a goal. we had no jump, no chemistry and nothing was fluid. it wasn't as upsetting when we lost because i got used to the idea in the first half of the first period.
and randy jones had an awful game.
I actually didn't see the whole game I was back and forth between the Flyers and Temple, but from what I did see I would have to disagree with what you said about the fluidness, I thought the Flyers at least out skated the Sens in the first period. But you are right in saying that goals were going to be at a premium for the Flyers.
