Lidge, Manuel and Gillick win TYIB Awards

Well, along with the Phils being crowned World Champs, there is some justice in this league in terms of end the season awards. 

The Phillies had three of their members win "This Year In Baseball" awards, which are voted on by the fans.

Brad Lidge was named the closer of the year and Charlie Manuel and Pat Gillick won the manager of the year and executive of the year respectively.

I do not know if this is making up for the fact that Lidge should have won the NL Cy Young Award and Manuel should have been named the NL Manager of the Year, but we will take what we can get. 

In the end, all that matters is that we are WORLD F*****' CHAMPIONS!!!
